Ajay, Abhishek Back After Eight Years

Ajay,-AbhishekAbhishek Bachchan and Ajay Devgn will re-unite on the big screen after a gap of eight years in the film “Bol Bachchan”.

“My company will be producing a film called ‘Bol Bachchan’, which will release by Diwali next year. Abhishek and I will be acting in it,” said Ajay.

The film will be directed by Rohit Shetty, and Kareena Kapoor is expected to play the female lead.

Abhishek and Ajay were last seen in 2003 “Zameen”, which was also directed by Shetty.

Abhishek Bachchan is supposedly married to the woman considered the most beautiful woman in the world. However its not what Abhishek thinks. His idea of beauty is what is epitomised by someone much older than he. Yes he thinks Waheeda Rehman is the most beautiful woman on the Earth.

“I’ve worked with Waheeda aunty before in Om Jai Jagdish. It was a sheer honour to work with her again. She is the most dignified and beautiful lady on Earth.

She’s such a wonderful person to be on the sets with. She has this aura about her which lights up everyone’s life and I can’t be more privileged that I have already done two films with her.

Actors go through their entire career not having an opportunity to work with her because she doesn’t do lot of work. I was very excited that she had agreed to do Delhi 6.”

The Padmashri is such an honour Aishwarya

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan said she was ’'absolutely honoured’’ at being conferred the Padmashri and that she was grateful for it.

’'I am very thankful for the privilege. I am humbled by it. I thank the high officers of our country because this has been accorded to me by them and our fellow people,’’ the actress told reporters at the inauguration of the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute in suburban Mumbai.

’'I hope to be able to live up to the promise of it. I am very grateful and will continue doing my best,’’ the actress added.


Megastar Amitabh Bachchan said his entire family was happy for the Padmashri recognition to daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai.

’'Aishwarya’s Padma decoration is the fifth in the family. My father received Padmabhushan, myself with (two) Padmashri and Padmabhushan and Jaya was recipient of Padmashri. Five Padma awardees in one family. God is generous and kind,’’ Bachchan wrote in his blog.

’'Our family is very happy and we are thankful to the government to give this honour to Aishwarya,’’ he told reporters in Mumbai.

Along with the former Miss World, actors Akshay Kumar, Helen, noted singer Hridaynath Mangeshkar, ghazal singer Penaz Masani, playback singer Udit Narayan have also been honoured with India’s fourth highest civilian honour for their contribution in the field of art.

Rishi Kapoor cant stop admiring Abhishek Bachchan!

Rishi Kapoor plays a very important role in Rakeysh Mehra’s Delhi 6 with Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor in the lead. And Rishi really admires Abhishek Bachchan saying,

“A very smart and a handsome six foot two inches; in fact taller than his father, Abhi is a very well spoken, educated and a cultured boy. A very fine actor.”

Elaborating on his words he cant help talk about this one scene he has with Abhishek where he was greatly impressed with Abhishek’s acting skills.

He says, “There is one very important scene I have in the film. It’s important for the film, to me and Abhi where I am speaking most of the lines. I am trying to tell him that don’t lose out on your girl whom you love (Sonam), otherwise you’ll turn up like me, like what my character is in the film is. Now here’s the twist.

Abhishek doesn’t say anything. He is just looking at me speechless. And the way he has done the scene, hats off to him. I haven’t seen the film yet but he was brilliant in that scene.

The way he has underplayed that scene is worth a standing ovation. My sincere kudos to him and thus I couldn’t stop myself from sending him the text message congratulating him”.
